The school timetable and the day’s substitutions, in one place.
When a teacher is absent, OrarioScuola asks free colleagues who teach the same subject whether they can cover the lesson. The first to accept is assigned, and you see at once what is still left to cover. The same tool helps you prepare and publish the timetable.
Are you a teacher or a student? You don’t need to request it: use the link or QR code your school gave you.
Example with sample data. Prof. Rossi is absent and the 9:00 Mathematics lesson in class 2A is marked «To cover». OrarioScuola offers it to three free colleagues who teach the same subject and the lesson moves to «Awaiting reply». When Prof. Bianchi accepts first, the lesson becomes «Covered», with Prof. Bianchi as the substitute. Below, another lesson, 3C at 10:00, is already covered.
How it works
Three steps, from preparing the timetable to the school day.
-
Prepare
Enter the school’s data: problems are named, so you know what to fix. With one click OrarioScuola tries to create the timetable; then you correct it class by class.
-
Publish
Before publishing you see what changes. Then teachers and students check the updated timetable in the app. The new timetable is not sent as a notification: they find it updated when they open the app.
-
Cover absences
The teacher reports the absence in the app, or you enter it from the web. Lessons left uncovered are offered to free colleagues who teach the same subject, and the first to accept is assigned. If nobody is available, you choose with «Choose a substitute».
The school can require coordinator confirmation for every substitution.
What it looks like
Three example screens, with sample data. They repeat on their own; if you have asked your device to reduce motion, you see the final state of each one.
Create the timetable
Sample dataExample with sample data. Five steps guide the preparation of the timetable: teachers and subjects, classes rooms and the school day, availability and rules, create the timetable, review and publish. The first three are shown as completed. «Create the timetable» is pressed, «Creating the timetable…» appears and finally a week of lessons to correct class by class before publishing.
The teacher receives the request
Sample dataExample with sample data. The teacher’s phone receives the request «Can you cover 2A at 9:00?», with the buttons «Accept substitution» and «I can’t». After the teacher accepts, «Assigned to you» appears and the lesson is in their timetable. This is only an illustration: the app always shows the up-to-date state of the request.
Students see their class
Sample dataExample with sample data. The student’s phone shows today’s timetable for class 2A: at 8:00 Italian, at 9:00 Mathematics (the current lesson), at 10:00 English and at 11:00 History, each with its room.
